A personal message from me to you...
The idea to have a Web site was actually not mine but my husbands. Around
1995 he began designing Web sites and thought I should have one about
ASL, interpreting etc. At first I was resistant but after much thinking and
hours of research on the Internet, I finally agreed.
At the time that my first Web site was created I was fairly new to the deaf
community and interpreting profession. I, like many other interpreting
students, was starving for information. I wanted to learn as much as I could.
I was eager and maybe over zealous at times, but I knew dedication was very
important and essential to my future career. So, here is my fourth Web site in
the last six years and as my site has grown with information, I have as
well.
A lot of long hours were put into this site, I did a lot of research
in putting together the information... information that I felt was important
and wanted to share with you. The information was obtained by reliable
sources which are listed and quoted throughout the Web site.
Again, I hope that the information provided will be of benefit to you.
